AWM realizes that good field drainage involves more that just installing some drain tile. They know to design the drainage system before installation starts. The soil type, topography, amount of water to be drained, outlet options, and cost will influence the drainage design decisions. Soil type and topography make a big difference in the type and amount of drainage a field may need.

Operator knowledge and skill has a major impact on the operation of your tile system. A detailed plan is put into place that addresses: equipment operation, proper drainage design, and importance of depth uniformity in installation.

Proper Spacing Makes All The Difference

Narrower tile spacing are the best solution to your tiling project, but quickly becomes costly for most farmers. AWM utilizes the latest in dual grade tiling equipment allowing us to efficiently plow in both directions saving time and money. Proper spacing will help you control the water table and keep levels consistent throughout your field. This will help eliminate inconsistent yields between tile lines.

You will find that AWM is one of the most affordable options for large and small farms alike. We work through early spring before crops are planted and through the fall months just after harvest.

Equipment

AWM's equipment is late model and state of the art.

AWM’s tile plow. With 460HP the BRON 450 is an excellent balance of power and agility. Able to plow a maximum depth of 7’6” with only 5.2psi, the BRON 450 can pull through just about anything. Renowned for more miles plowed in less time the BRON 450 is the plow setup that production contractors prefer.

AWM utilizes a laser guidance system that is installed on our tile plow for excellent grade control.
